1930s COUNTRY COTTAGE Allendale has a warm and welcoming atmosphere providing guests with a stylish self-contained 1930s timber cottage, allowing for a relaxing stay away from city life. Allendale is nestled amidst the small yet picturesque village of Burrawang in the heart of the Southern Highlands just one and a half hours drive south of Sydney.

FULLY SELF-CONTAINED Allendale is fully self-contained and offers the perfect getaway. Situated in its own private garden behind a tall hedge, the cottage is furnished in period pieces which complement the traditional country cottage. The lounge room has comfortable chairs facing a large slow combustion fireplace (wood supplied). Books, magazines, TV, CD and DVD players are provided for your entertainment. The eat-in country kitchen has a dining table, electric stove and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, jug and utensils for up to 6 people. A breakfast hamper is provided with cereals, milk, bread, farm-fresh eggs, juice, fruit, mushrooms and tomatoes plus tea and coffee making facilities.

ACCOMMODATION FOR UP TO 6 The cottage has two bedrooms - one with a double brass bed with crisp white linen, and one with twin beds. All have electric blankets and electric heating for winter warmth. A sofa bed in the sunroom caters for an extra two people. The bedrooms share a bathroom with large bath, shower and WC. There is a laundry for your use during longer stays.

YOUR OWN PRIVATE GETAWAY Allendale is suitable for families or groups of friends. The large private garden has a north facing sunny backyard - relax here over a leisurely lunch around the barbecue or curl up with a book under a shady tree. The cottage is a few minutes' walk from the village centre (hotel, restaurant and store) and a short drive to national parks, waterfalls and other towns and villages of the Highlands.

TARIFF: from $120 per night, whole house Ask us about midweek and weekly rates. Allendale is a non-smoking establishment. Sorry, no pets.
