BONG BONG HIGHLAND COTTAGES - BOOKING CONDITIONS
Check in time every day 2.00 pm.
Check out time 10.00 am. Check out time for two night weekend bookings 4.00 pm (Sundays only for standard weekends and Mondays for long weekends).
• Minimum stay 2 nights. Easter / Christmas / June and October Long weekends the minimum stay is 3 nights.
• $110.00 non refundable deposit is required on booking by credit card (MC/VI/AB).
• All amendments to booking dates will incur a fee of $22.00.
• Final payment is due 21 days prior to the date of your stay. If final payment is not made by credit card an additional $550.00 bond will need to be included in your cheque/direct deposit/debit card payment and will be refunded after your stay by mail. In the unlikely event that accidental damage is caused to the property we reserve the right to use the bond or charge the credit card on file to a maximum limit of $550.00. We will of course supply you with a copy of the tradesman or purchase invoice.
• Details re key collection, directions, etc, will be sent with the final payment receipt.
• Final payment will automatically be charged to your credit card two days after the due date and final details posted. Please advise us by the due date if you wish to make alternative final payment arrangements as per above.
• When full payment has been made and the booking is cancelled within 7 days of your stay, there will be no refund. If cancelled outside 7 days, the charge will be 50% of the full amount or $110.00, whichever is the greater. A change of date within 21 days of your stay is treated as a cancellation.
• For stays of longer than 4 weeks, prices are on application and services (gas/electricity/wood etc) are not included.
• Please note that cottages and houses are non smoking areas. Please smoke on verandahs or outside.
• Pets are not permitted at most properties - please check with us regarding houses that allow animals.
• In the unlikely event a property is withdrawn from our listing after we have confirmed it to you, we will offer you a similar property or a full refund.
• Please advise us, if you wish to take out travel Insurance in case of cancellation.
Our houses and cottages are individually and privately owned. We would ask you to please take care of these properties as you would your own home. Please ensure the properties are left neat and tidy and all dishes are washed and put away. Please dispose of rubbish thoughtfully, (particularly foodstuffs and disposable nappies) and use recycling facilities where available. If you have children we ask you to ensure their supervision to protect both themselves and the houses and cottages you are staying in.
Should an owner advise us their property required additional cleaning time including unwashed dishes etc a cleaning fee of $55.00 will be charged to the credit card held on file.
