On the southern slopes of Mt. Gibraltar, Gib Cottage offers newly renovated self-contained accommodation in the centre of Bowral for up to 8 people. You couldn't be closer to the town center in this lovely country cottage. Walk just two blocks to the main street along the pretty Cherry Tree Walk and find many boutiques, restaurants, sidewalk cafes and speciality stores. Gib Cottage is ideal for families or groups of friends. A queen bedroom has its own ensuite and adouble bedroom and two twin rooms share a bathroom with spa bath and separate WC. There is plenty of room to relax after a busy day exploring the Highlands. The lounge room - which opens on to a sheltered garden terrace - has TV, DVD and CD players for your entertainment. In winter curl up on the lounge in front of the fireplace (a bag of wood supplied). (Gib Cottage is also centrally heated for extra comfort in cooler weather.)

The fully equipped kitchen has a gas stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, plus utensils and tableware for up to 8. The kitchen leads on to a dining area and through doors to another dining setting outside with Weber BBQ. All linen and furnishings are provided, as is a washing machine for longer stays. There are a number of cafes nearby which serve breakfast - or supermarkets open 7 days for supplies so you can make your own. Gib Cottage is located in a garden setting in a quiet street opposite a park. A bicycle path runs alongside leading to a bike trail of several kilometres through East Bowral - safe riding for the kids. Lookouts on Mt. Gibraltar - a short drive away - offer panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. And of course, Gib Cottage is central to all the other attractions of the Highlands.
