| Glendale Cottage ( circa 1890s ) is a self-contained cottage set amongst colourful cottage gardens just 5 minutes from Bowral. Your romantic country escape is nestled on 40 acres amidst rural surroundings so peaceful that the loudest noises guests might hear are the lowing of dairy cows and the chirping or carolling of abundant birdlife. Back in the early 1800s the land was originally granted to Rev. John Joseph Therry and was to be the township of 'Andrewville'. The cottage itself was originally a dairy farm and the Glenquarry Post Office from 1889 until 1956. ( The old dairy building is still standing nearby.) | ![]() |
