Green Gate BnB welcomes you to the 'green heart' of the beautiful Southern Highlands at Robertson.
Situated on 2 acres of established gardens at the edge of the village overlooking sweeping hills of farmland towards East Kangaloon, Green Gate is a modern homestead deliberately designed to capture the ambience of earlier times.
Recycled timbers in floors, doorways and architraves, 9 foot ceilings, coloured glazing, leadlight windows and pieces of period furniture all together add to the old-world charm of Green Gate.
Bed & Breakfast Accommodation
Green Gate BnB offers you bed and breakfast accommodation for one or two couples in two luxuriously appointed bedroom suites.
The Green Room has a comfortable queen bed and overlooks the gardens. Its own private bathroom is lavishly appointed and features a large glassed shower recess, and a WC.
The centrepiece of the Red Room is a large (queen sized) four poster bed. Imposing antique furniture adds grandeur to the room and walls of glass on two sides offer views of the courtyard and miles of open countryside. A large walk-through wardrobe leads to its own en-suite.
Both rooms have their own sitting area, TV, DVD player, hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities, offering you privacy and relaxation.
Country style breakfasts
After a restful night, begin your day in the breakfast room, or out on the sunny courtyard overlooking the view.
Start with cereals and juice followed by a fully cooked country breakfast featuring fresh local produce and tea or coffee.
Room to relax
Green Gate BnB offers you a peaceful weekend escape from a busy life.
You are free to spend the day curled up with a book on one of the many seats in our 'garden rooms', or just enjoy the gardens and the view.
The village is just a short walk away and offers interesting little shops for you to browse through, cafes, restaurants and a hotel. (Roberston has a large resident arts and crafts community.) The heritage railway precinct and adjacent rainforest reserve deserve a visit.
The famous 'Illawarra Fly' is 10 minutes' drive, and there are lookouts, waterfalls and all the other villages and attractions of the Highlands not far away.
