"Hartley" is a large, modern country house offering self-contained accommodation in a peaceful and tranquil setting on grounds of 5 acres. Located in a quiet country lane, Hartley is close to Frensham School and Sturt Centre and just 2 minutes from Mittagong town centre. Hartley is constructed and fitted out to a high standard and offers luxurious accommodation for up to 6 people. There are three spacious bedrooms - 2 queen size, and one twin. The queen rooms each have an ensuite with large shower, stylish glass fittings and marble lined walls. The twin room has an adjacent bathroom with spa bath, shower and WC. All bathrooms have heating for cooler weather. All linen, towels, continental quilts, and electric blankets provided. A laundry is available for your use during longer stays. Entertain in style in the large informal living area with its polished timber floors. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen with its walk-in pantry and island servery counter has everything you need for catering. You may choose to enjoy your meals in the dining area here, on the terrace, or in the adjoining formal dining room.

Comfortable lounges allow you to relax over a book or magazine, or to watch the large plasma TV screen with its DVD player. A library of CDs and DVDs is also available for guests. From the informal living area French doors open up on to sunny terraces and overlook the gardens beyond. The delightful courtyard with its outdoor furniture is ideal for alfresco dining. A separate formal living room provides room for privacy and has a more formal dining area. Windows here offer views over peaceful bushland and French doors lead on to the wrap-around verandah, which has seats for quiet reflection over the front garden with its tiered fountain. Both the living and entertaining areas have fireplaces for winter breaks around the fireside. Hartley also has central heating and reverse-cycle air conditioning for year round comfort. Hartley is suitable for one to 3 couples - your exclusive use of the property during your stay. The house is self-catering. Complimentary tea and coffee making facilities are provided - please bring your breakfast and other provisions with you. Alternatively provisions for breakfast (Continental or full English - for first morning only) can be provided at additional cost by prior arrangement if required. Hartley is just 1 hour from Sydney on the F5 and less than 2 hours from Canberra. Your country house is close to Bowral and other towns and villages of the Highlands offering great shopping, cafes, restaurants, wineries, galleries and golf courses.
