Lavally offers you a very different and very special getaway at Robertson with spectacular views over the escarpment and out over Lake Illawarra to the ocean.
Lavally is a seven and a half acre property - much of which is covered by an unspoilt sub-tropical rainforest which invites you to explore.
Your accommodation is a modern chalet adjacent to the main homestead, with its own private entrance, offering accommodation for one or two couples (or up to 6 people sharing).
The chalet has a central living room which combines a lounge and dining area and a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, tea/coffee making facilities and utensils for up to 6. The large picture window offers views over the garden and woodland and opens up on to a long balcony where you can take breakfast or enjoy the expansive views.
On each side of the living room are two queen bedrooms, each well appointed in a country decor and with their own ensuites, offering accommodation for two couples sharing the living area or the whole chalet for groups or families. (A fold-down double bed in the living area accommodates another 2 - suitable for families.) Each bedroom has access the balcony and views over the garden.
Your tariff includes a fully cooked country breakfast delivered to you in the chalet, on the balcony, or you may - if you choose - have breakfast in the solarium in the homestead with your hosts. Breakfast may include bacon, sausages, fresh eggs from our own chooks - or simply cereal and toast provided in the kitchenette.
For your entertainment, a TV, DVD player, some videos, a radio, games, books and magazines are provided. You are also welcome to use the traditional wood-fired BBQ for lunch or dinner if you wish. Or a cooked country dinner in the homestead is available in the evenings (by arrangement only).
You will enjoy the fresh country air - say hello to the ponies, the chickens and the myriad native birds which visit. Or take our own crossing over the south coast railway line (steam trains sometimes visit) to explore the wonders of sub-tropical rainforest.
Nearby, in Robertson, there are cafes, hotel, and restaurants, and many interesting boutiques to visit - and all the other attractions of the Highlands or the South Coast are minutes away.
Lavally has a modern country decor, with polished timber floors throughout and reverse cycle air conditioning for comfort all year round.

From Robertson - head down Macqaurie Pass. Lavally is exactly 1 1/2 kms past the Robertson Pie Shop on the right, the first chance you get to get a view over the coast.
From Wollongong - head up the Macquarie Pass towards Robertson. As you reach the top of the pass out of the rainforest you will see Lavally on the left, the first chance you get to get a view over the coast. |
